Discrimination is a serious problem in the twenty-first century. Many Immigrants who are legally documented in the US still get discriminated because of stereotypes. Stereotypes are also the reason why certain groups of people are not allowed in the US. The problem is certain people in the ethnic group that are doing illegal and bad things to the country make other people believe the whole group only does those acts.

9/11 Attack: The September 11 attacks were hijacking planes to crash into American buildings. It was coordinated by the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda and almost all of the members in that group were Muslim. As there was more terrorist attacks by Muslims they were soon recognized as terrorists even though it's just some Muslims that are terrorists.

Diversity: Immigrants benefit America by bringing new foods that give diversity. Mexican immigrants brought foods like enchiladas, tacos, and tamales. There is also food from other groups of immigrants. For example, a thai women who made sriracha: A man from turkey who made chobani: Two brothers from germany brought the sweet candy called jelly bellys: A couple from china have brought a big fast food restaurant in America called Panda Express.
